Join Steve Archibald for a night of laughter and behind-the-scenes stories about his time playing at Pittodrie and the stellar career that would see him signed by Barcelona to replace Diego Maradona.The former-Scotland and Tottenham star was a fans’ favourite at Pittodrie in the late 1970s and early 1980s, when he formed a legendary partnership with “King” Joey Harper. Signed for Aberdeen by Billy McNeill, Archibald played in the legendary team that won the league in 1980 under Sir Alex Ferguson. He then joined Tottenham where he won the FA Cup twice and the UEFA Cup before a stunning million pounds move to Terry Venables’ FC Barcelona. He won La Liga and the Spanish Cup and he still lives in Catalonia where adoring fans nicknamed him “Archigol”. Steve will answer fans’ questions on stage in the stunning setting of The Tivoli Theatre in Guild Street.
