Our senior group “have poured themselves a cup of ambition” and are having lots of fun rehearsing their latest offering, 9 to 5: The Musical. This hilarious and nostalgic show highlights the inequality for women in the workplace in the late 70’s/early 80’s.
9 to 5 is based on the 1980’s movie of the same name. It centres on the downtrodden working lives of 3 women who decide to take action against their sexist and egotistical boss. What follows is a hilarious tale of revenge. With music and lyrics by Dolly Parton, the audience will leave smiling with the happy knowledge that times have changed for the better. Senior AYMT are guaranteed to “Shine Like The Sun”.
